Practice Policies

Please note I do not make court appearances on behalf of parents for custody matters, nor do I testify on my client’s behalf. If I am compelled to comply with a judge’s order to break confidentiality and the court or your attorney(s) do not pay my fee, you will be charged for the time I spend responding to legal matters. You will also be charged for any costs I incur responding to attorneys in your case, including but not limited to fees I am charged for legal consultation and representation by my attorneys. My fees are:

$1500 retainer prior to any preparation or attendance of legal proceeding.

$200/hour to prepare for and/or attend any legal proceeding and for all court related services.

I do not offer letters for emotional support animals nor am I able to fill out FMLA forms - please see your physician for disability paperwork.

Pricing

Coaching: $100

Individual Therapy Out of Pocket:$80-$100 sliding scale offered

Couples and Families: $100-$150 sliding scale offered

A note on Confidentiality

There are times when a Therapist has to break confidentiality: if any past or present sexual abuse, neglect or physical abuse of a minor (birth-17) is reported I must report the suspected abuse. If a dependent adult (18-64 who has a caregiver) or elderly person (65+) is reported as being or having been physically or sexually abused or neglected or financially abused - I must report it. If you report that you are going to harm someone else and I have assessed you are in danger of committing murder - I will report this to the proper agencies. Last, harm to self, if I conclude you won’t take yourself to the ER, a PERT team will be called or your emergency contact reached out to. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and you are not in a session, please call 911 or take yourself to an ER.

Cancellation Fees:

To help make the coaching or therapy process function smoothly and stay on track, I offer a reschedule within the same week of your scheduled session. If a change in day or time is not an option, you are charged a half rate of your full session fee if you are private pay - if you are seeing me individually with insurance, it is a flat rate of $50.
